Ke$ha-The Comeback Kid

Kesha's latest album, Rainbow is the symbol of her triumphant comeback. Kesha has faced a lot of hard times, especially in the last few years but thankfully, she released an album full of power-ballad Anthems. This CD shows she came out on top. She realizes what she went through made her stronger, and now we as animals (what she calls her fans) get to benefit.

This place about to BLOW!

I am convinced that Kesha does not receive the credit she deserves. Her talent for lyrics, singing and pure ambition often don't get noticed. WELL NOT TODAY. We are going to discuss Kesha Rose, so she doesn't spend another moment being underrated.

Your Love is My Drug

The party really doesn't start till Kesha walks in. Every party or good car ride should include one of her songs. In the beginning, Kesha's first gig was having an uncredited part in Flo Ridas song "right round". She expresses not even being hurt by the fact she wasn't mentioned for singing in the song. She shares "you gotta pay your dues." Just shortly after, She released her first single TIK TOK. It then became one of the most downloaded songs in America. Her fame and success only got better from here.

Warrior

Kesha gets a bit of a bad rep due to some of her lyrics and at times appearance being somewhat raunchy. Her inappropriateness sometimes pushes people away. The truth is, she deserves recognition and mad props for a lot of her lyrics. Her attitude and ideas about life can actually be very inspiring. Kesha is all for living life to the fullest, being your true self, and really living in the moment.

SIDE NOTE **She is the main artist that got me through my freshman year of college. Here are some of her song lyrics that really impress me, and some that I really just simply love because they are fun.**

"I know were not perfect baby thats life, and all of these differences, they make me feel alive....maybe its about the time, to let all of the love back into life"

"dirt and glitter cover the floor, we're pretty and sick, we're young and we're bored"

"we were born to break the doors down, fight until the end. Its something thats inside of us, and how we've always been"

"I see that colors are everything. Got kaleidoscopes in my hairdo, got back the stars in my eyes too. Ya know, I see the magic inside of me."

"I realize this life is short and deep down i'm still a child. Playful eyes wide and wild. I cant loose hope, whats left of my heart's still made of gold."

"every single night we fight, to get a little high on life. To get a little something real, something right, at least we tried. "

"cause you know the party never ends, and tomorrow we're gonna do it again. We the ones who that play hard, we live hard, we love hard, we light up the dark"

We Are Who We Are

Kesha has never been afraid to embrace who she is.  So many of her well known songs are rockin' and easy to dance to. The songs that are truly meaninful however, are a lot of her slower ones. Rainbow, the song her latest album is named after, is particularly a good one. It has a unique feel as the lyrics seem nostalgic and even somewhat childish. Her message to the world tells that she is a composite of the things that have happend to her, and what she has learned from them. She really does have an awesome outlook on life. She shares "This song was a promise to myself, a promise that things would get better.”

Crazy Beautiful Life

When all is said and done, we should support a lot of what Kesha stands for and sings about. Recognize the good that she expresses in her songs. Plus she has a crazy good voice. Kesha admits that she wanted to release personal and raw music that really speaks to people. She tells in an interview "... released a single that’s a true ballad, and I feel like those are the songs that balance out the perception of you, because you can be a fun girl. You can go and have a crazy night out, but you also, as a human being, have vulnerable emotions. You have love.”

This video shows Kesh and her mom writing together. Pure Talent.

Wherever You Are

Kesha, keep being you. She once stated that she is never going to stop raining glitter on her crowds/audience at her concerts. May I also suggest she keep raining down hit songs that provoke inspirational and colorful lives. Now after reading this, I hope more people understand and love her-cause she deserves it!
